Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum)

Also known as immortelle, this golden sun-shaped flower is a sought-after species thoughtfully harvested from seaside mountain cliffs in Italy. Helichrysum has been used historically throughout Europe for its potent skin soothing and replenishing properties. Prickly Pear (Opuntia ficus-indica)

As its name suggests, this prickly cactus fruit is an integral part of both the Sicilian landscape and diet. Sourced with care from the volcanic region near Italy’s Mount Etna, prickly pear boasts high concentrations of omega-6 fatty acids and linoleic acid, which are known to stimulate skin renewal. It also has a high vitamin E content which protects and replenishes the skin. It is beautifully hydrating due to the presence of oleic and stearic acid, lending softness to skin.

Apricot (Prunus armeniaca)

Extracted from the kernels, or seeds, of apricots, the array of fatty acids found in apricot oil help to soften and moisturize parched skin for a smoother look and feel. Apricot oil also works to help other essential oils absorb for an added boost to your skin’s hydration and nourishment.

Meadowfoam (Limnanthes alba)

This lipid-rich seed oil is renowned for its ability to hydrate skin without imparting a greasy feel.
